About Amy Kiser, Nutritional Therapy Practitioner

Amy is certified as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner through the Nutritional Therapy Association's NTP program. She is a member of the Weston A. Price Foundation and the Nutritional Therapy Association (NTA).
As a Senior Partner working on Fortune 100 brands at New York advertising agencies in her 20s and 30s, Amy had a fast paced lifestyle involving long work hours and poor eating habits. This plus earning her MBA part-time while working took its toll on her health. Continued stress over the years led to digestive and hormonal issues as well as a diagnosis of two autoimmune diseases. After numerous trips to several doctors didn't improve her condition, Amy took matters into her own hands and conducted extensive research to discover and adopt dietary changes and other natural therapies that significantly reduced her symptoms. In addition, she was also able to apply what she learned to improve her daughter's celiac disease symptoms, anxiety about food, and learning challenges, all which led to a happier child and improved family dynamic. This success with natural therapies inspired her to seek out a science-based nutrition program so that she could help women and children make sustainable improvements to their health.
With an undergraduate degree in psychology and recent work for non-profit organizations, Amy has always been passionate about helping others and is thrilled to empower others to lead happier, healthier lives through nutritional therapy. She lives with her husband and two children. She enjoys cooking, travel, yoga, Pilates and spending time with friends and family.
